BazaIn
the northeast of the province of Granada, within Andalucia is Baza, an arab-style
town surrounded by open countryside and natural parks. Here
you will find picturesque streets with a Moorish feel. A good example of the architecture
is the Ghetto Baths, considered to be the oldest surviving baths from the muslim
period. Close by you will find the village of
Castril, a rustic village with narrow, white streets that lead to the National
Park of Castril. The park is home to many rare creatures. The
village of Cúllar is a place of rich tradition, located in a lowland, rich
in fruit growing. The fiestas here are of the best in the area, especially that
of the Moors and Christians.
